ThesuccessfulcandidatewillplayakeyroleinthedevelopmentofmandarinatwellingtoncollegeinHangzhou.thecollegeislookingforacandidatewhowouldrelishthechallengeofestablishingthesubjectinanewschool.
Themandarinteacherwillhavetheresponsibilityfortheplanningandteachingofthesubjecttothedesignatedclass,thecontentofeachlessonbeingdeterminedbythejuniorhighschoolcurriculumandbytheheadofchinesestudies.
Theteacherwillensurethatthesubjectisdeliveredinawaythatprovidescoverage,progressionandcontinuitybyeffectivelyworkingwithaninternationalteachingpartner.
Theteacherwillalsoberequiredtocarryoutothersuchdutiesastheheadofjuniorhighorthedeputyheadofjuniorhighmayreasonablydirectfromtimetotime.
He/sheisexpectedtodisplaythehigheststandardsofprofessionalisminhis/herteachingandinhis/herrelationshipswithcolleaguesandparents.
Theteachermustensurethatanexcellentlearningenvironmentisprovidedforthelearningofmandarin,andthatthepupilsdevelopapositiveattitudetothesubjectwithinthecollege.
Theteachermustpresentlessonsinastructuredandco-ordinatedmannerwithdueregardtotheabilityofthepupilsandthecurriculumtargetsoftheparticularyeargroup.
